GM, beer isn't allowed in advertising in many countries, Canada included. Hence the 0.0%. I think.

What an odd concept, considering there are tons of beer commercials.

Hmmm. Maybe I'm thinking tobacco. Although, I would guess my original theory correct in the case of this commercial...

Nah, there's some weird thing where you're not allowed to actually show people consuming alcohol. It's a tad bizarre.

Do you mean that you can show the product, people holding it etc., but the people can't be shown actually consuming it?

    Allow me to help,

Hmm..those are Tyrolia's on a pair of Olin Mark IV's and a Bogner ski jacket.

And I believe it was Ricky Sylvester who was the stunt double.

Geez - thx for the reminder - actually, not sure if I want to thank you or not. I may have been in my prime then, but Bond sure wasn't.

Yup.. Just no drinking it!.. Canada has it ass backwards. In Ontario retailers have to hide the tobacco behind sliding doors basically so there is no visual contact with the product.. Our beer commercials run rampant lol

If moto dude was rocking a 29er with its superior angle of attack due to the larger wheels, he would have cleared that picnic bench no prob.

Roger Moore is to 007 what Lance Armstrong was to the TdF. We should just wipe them both out of memory and never look back. On the other hand, forgetting our history only assures we will repeat the same mistakes again so...

Interesting as there is a documentary style movie of Sean Connery I think in the late 50's and early 60's on the abandoned docks and shipbuilding facilities of Glasgow. And how they died off after WWII.

Oggie has not been heard around these parts for a while. And he has not weighed in on this thread. Did you ban him again Circlip? Or do we have to do another "Ask Uncle Oggie" thread again?

He's been sucked into the black hole that is Off-Camber. Last time I checked he was having an in depth discussion with Tone's on how to correctly perform various indecent acts.

I believe he is currently arguing about the myth of our Health Care system being free.
