Need Air valve from Manitou Fork/Shock!!

Anyone have a broken, used or whatever manitou air fork or shock lying around?

I went down in O-Cup #1 in the mud and seem to have cracked the little schrader valve in my Manitou shock.

Manitou is not sure if they have any, and on top of that its such a small part they wont send it unless an LBS can get a minimum order together...

So if you have a Manitou air fork or shock lying around, can I please buy it from you, or borrow the valve, or buy the valve or whatever!

Hopefully before the 8hr this sat!!!

I have decommissoned an 06 Axel Elite. I was holding on to it in case I met the MOFO who designed it. My hope is to whap it off the side of his skull until the cast iron steerer tube bends. Removing the Schrader valve shouldn't hurt.

If it's a Schrader valve, any tire shop should be able to fix you up.

Its the black Schrader valve thing. Its cracked. It un screws from the body of the shock.
I tried another one from another shock I had, but it was bigger, so I thought different companies would have different sizes?

I'm gonna meet up with Dave tomorrow, but I'll try at the auto parts store too!

Just in case you don't get one from Dave for some reason, I have one in my hand here. Heck, I have two, to be exact. I'll be at the race on Sat. and I could bring it with me. Let me know if you'll still need it.

Thanks everyone that responded and especially Dave who let me pick up his fork! Apparently the forks have a different valve assembly than the shock I have.

But in case, Arek if you have the schrader valve assembly please do bring to the race!

Hey bbgobie, just making sure you got the valve. I left it with your neighbors in the solo area.

    Hi Arek!

Yes! Sorry I missed you! They couldn't remember what you looked like or your number so I didn't even know who to go thank!

Do you want it back? It actually doesn't fit! its about 4-5mm too short to get in!, goes in a bit, but not all the way. I tried taking out the other schrader valve and swapping them and thats even shorter!

    I can't believe these aren't standard!!

That's weird. That valve IS from a Manitou Swinger shock!
Too bad it didn't help. I don't really have use for it, so just keep it, or whatever.

    Arek,
Man, thats weird. I guess all the different model years have different valve sizes?

Dover, Thanks for the awesome offer!
