    Muskoka Bike festival (Gravenhurst)

This is the same weekend as the Muskoka Bike festival as well:
Festival | The Bike Shop in Gravenhurst

I believe Xprezo will have demos at Buckwallow. Maybe other companies as well?

Any idea what else the $50 registration fee gets you beside access to a beer tent, music and bike rides?

It does say that the rides include Buckwallow Saturday and Sunday for mountain bikes. I was more curious if the fees were for anything else significant other than what is shown on that page.

I really don't know any more, like you I've just been reading about it,
But if people are from out of town 2 days riding at Buck is 20 Bucks
    Is the pancake breakfast included?

Just got an email back from folks at The Bike Shop in Gravenhurst and apparently the festival is cancelled for this year.

I believe there is a group ride at Buckwallow this Saturday afternoon, followed by a BBQ/Corn Roast and a concert in Mike's Hall (Rae Hall). Call the Gravenhurst Bike Shop or maybe check out their facebook page if you are interested.

I was kinda hoping to test ride some new demo bikes. Might still make the trek down, depending on the weather. Or I might head to Horseshoe instead.

I will say upfront that I don't know, but I am doubting it. I stopped in Thu pm and shop staff said there are time trials planned (for fun, not "serious") followed by a group ride, followed by corn roast/BBQ, followed by the concert, all Sat afternoon/evening at Buckwallow. Nothing was said about a bike swap.

Both days look great for riding in Muskoka! If anyone is still up here and is looking for a Sunday ride the group I ride with will likely ride Buck or the Village tomorrow morning, BCD as always you are invited too.

And as usual if you are over there Saturday, pictures B pictures

    Thanks in advance

I didn't make it to the Sat festival thingie unfortunately...only so much play time. JC, Blue, and I did a fatbike ride at Buckwallow in the am, and we are out to the Torrance Barrens tomorrow am. For that ride JC is bringing the Mrs. plus their fully suspended 5.5" travel Ventana tandem Should be interesting, maybe I'll grab the camera for that!!

Muskoka Cycling Club is having end of season team ride at Buckwallow 12 -5 pm both Sat & Sun (15th & 16th) with Xprezo demo bikes/race bikes/ FS 29er for riding and for sale.
Pot Luck dinner follows. Info is on Muskoka Cycling Club facebook page...I just thought to pass it along not knowing which brand of bike you were interested in.Nor do I know if other brands are included in this demo. best to contact them if interested.
