    King forest?

Does anyone know where or if King Forest trails exists?
I'd just heard it in passing, and was wondering where it was.
    Tried Google, to no avail.
    Thanks.

Yeah, I took a look at the trail map and it is a bit short.
It's about 15-20 mins away from me by car, so I'll probably just go there for a short
    afternoon ride.
    Thanks for the info everyone.

I agree with the above. It's good for a ride after work if it's convenient for you (I live in Maple, ~15 min away) but I wouldn't make a special trip for it. If you know all the sidetrails you can set up a fun loop but it's only going to be about 20min per loop, so you'll need to do a few laps to make it worth your while. A couple of ramped log piles have shown up this year which I think help make it at least a little more interesting...

Those ramped log piles were shortlived I was excited to see them and then the next time I went they were gone...now it's just flow singletrack without any tech sections...

I went to King the other day and the log piles were still there. Are we all talking about the same place?

No, Coulson's Hill is further north up the 400, past Bradford. The King trail on the map is just north of King City.

Being from Hamilton (which is why I can make the Hamilton crack above), I'm pretty sure "King's Forest" is a municipal golf course, and used to be a municipal-run ski hill, along the escarpment. I'm not aware of a trail system there, but I wouldn't be surprised if there was one.

What's known as the "King trails" are at the map I posted above, nowhere near Hamilton. Technically, that spot is actually Centennial Park in King Township. Here's a pretty but rather useless aerial map/photo from their Parks and Rec website:

(warning - 9MB - King Township have not yet heard of "image compression")

The King trail I was referring to is indeed "Centennial Park", on Jane a few KMs north of King Side Road. I was there again on Monday, only one log pile that's been there for ages...I brought out my new helmet cam to play around with there so as soon as I figure out how to compress the video I'll post it...
