    A humbling experience.

So, I consider myself to have half decent riding skills. Good enough to hang in with the Sport class racers on a technical XC course.

Well, today I went riding with my co-worker to take some pictures of him hitting some jumps, gaps, and drops. I'm not crazy enough to attempt any of them. We also did just a couple downhill runs down the escarpment. He pulled away from me so fast, it was ridiculous. Of course he has ridden the trails a hundred times this summer, vs. just a couple times for me. I also got a pinch flat. I guess I need a lot more practice.

And, as a bonus, I took some sunset pictures on the way home.

Riding pictures taken in St. Catharines, near Brock University.

Sunset pictures taken in downtown St. Catharines - the view from Westchester Ave.
