Singlesprocket and I did a local ride on our favorite trails along the Humber River
The ride down was fun
Crunching through the foliage.
On the way down we spotted a flock of 10 to 15 ducks on the Humber River. They were not common in the area so we suspect they were migrating and just passing through. Some were startled as we rode past and what was striking was their red heads. Couldn't snap a pic in time but this is what they looked like
The climb back
Started to pour after the ride... head over to Foodstock
The Town Crier kicking off the event
The vegetarian chilli was a huge hit. (The student chefs made a gluten -free version as well) It was so tasty that the chefs who made it shared first place prize for the best recipes. All ingredients mmmm!
Local mtbers enjoying the hot Apple soup. Also on the menu was beef sliders and pulled pork slider, coleslaw, beet salad, apple dumplings.... all local all organic
Entertainment was local and so were the bevies
