    New question here. Don Question

Today while riding the Don River Recreation Trail on my road bike, I saw a MTBer on the west side of the river. It was north of the Pottery Road & fairly close to the river. I rode the trails earlier this year, but don't recall being as close to the river as today's rider.

If anyone could tell me where to access this trail it would be appreciated.

The typical trail head is at Pottery and Bayview. From there you head North on the Ridge. But you can cross the train tracks at in Sun Valley (in the South) and ET Seaton (in the North) and ride the Flats as well. This is likely where the rider you saw was. It is worth trying because that is where you access the Dirt Camp and another spot with a bunch of man made apparatuses.

The Don is it, stick to the west side of the river for the best riding in the GTA

yes take the north ridge near Pottery and complete that side of the river. Then you can cross at the tracks at the end of that trail (be can get a ticket here for doing so.......I saw a rider get one by a cop on a bike)......then you can ride the other side.
