    VN keeps editorializing on discs like some experimental new technology that HAVEN'T been in continuous use for 15 years.

    It's like they're implying the entire MTB discipline are a bunch of idiots who never actually ride, and now the *real cyclists* in CX are discovering that the stuff we've been using for years is crap.

    Yeah I don't care what conditions are like, if you are losing all braking power after 2 laps of a CX race, you probably had the inboard pad set close to flush with the caliper to begin with.

    A stage of Crank the Shield, on the other hand......

    Considering they can get a whole new bike handed to them every lap it seems a bit odd that they're having this problem.

    My favorite was the racer mentioning he had organic pads installed. Talk about plan to fail.
