could i be the first human
who rode Bent Rim 1 and 2 on fully carbon bike with 1420g Carbon SL wheels and came out without broken parts?
sure, there was snow packed down, but not much in gnarly sections...
no pics, but i have some suspect individuals that may be able to confirm it.

I don't trust you, nor the people you ride with.

Sorry, I find this suspect. Could your co riders be former workers for BreX?

i admit some of them are very suspect individuals, but most of them are well respected canadian tax payers and have no criminal record.
what can i do. haters are gonna hate. but it doesn't stick - like water down a duck's back...
-
ive done it before Oso, Ive done it on a carbon road bike last time i was in Canada and have witnesses to prove it.

Witney is dead... sorry that i had to break the news to you...

yeah, you must have been riding shotgun with Rex on his Tallboy, no?
-
That is pretty impressive. I "rode" that last summer on the Tallboy with no incident except a minor leg gash. The "rode" is in quotes as there were a number of fails and stops. I did ride that once with a guy who was on a trials bike with no seat and he cleaned it all the while doing ride ups, and pedal kicks and gapping stuff. It was exhausting to even watch. It took us forever just to ride in from the parking lot. At one point he even gave up pedaling and we just waked to Bent Rim.

I find this whole respectable part as highly suspect. As I don't know of any taxpayer respectable enough not to seek out every loop hole and way to pay less.

impressive. the best i've done, was riding the first part with maybe one or two dabs once, no walks or stops, which i thought was pretty damn good, maybe 6 or 7 years ago...fully rigid 26er with aluminum rims (haha), while my buddies took forever on a suspended hardtail and a fully.
...a truly skeptical position would be a very uncertain one.

I've done it on a full-carbon Pennyfarthing.

I assumed monkeys had done it years ago, but let it go at that.

I rode HIlton FAlls one time on a Devinici Jalapeno. When I took the bike into my LBS (at that time). The owner said it looked like someone had loosened every spoke! However, the wheel was still true - I guess they loosened at equal rates???

Now we have the ascertain if Oggie used standard sealed bearings. Because wouldn't using military grade high performance bearings or NASA grade ceramic bearings be a bicycle PED? Should we request our resident Commissaire to form a OCA committee to embark on investigation of this?

Strava or it didn't happen

Don't think Strava and pics would cover it.
I am thinking more along the lines of uninterrupted go-pro video.

Of course, but we all know there are more appropriate places on mtbr for such activities (*cough* O *cough* C *cough*) lest I am inclined to relocate otherwise entertaining or useful threads. Enduramil and OC deserve each other. What do you think is holding him back?
