Awesome for us bike geeks but I think anyone else would be bored to tears watching helmet cam footage up this hill! I am very familiar with this climb to the point that I've noted certain cracks in the pavement as markers for when to stand and when to sit! love this climb!

lol, you probably know that climb better than I do and I live on it!

Anyhoo, there's a whole big do on in town tomorrow with Clara visiting as the guest of honour (she's an honourary lifetime member of the Hamilton Cycling Club too, BTW). Details here: Dundas gets ready to welcome Olympian. Should be pretty awesome and I hope to be able to watch the motorcade from my sidewalk!
Please enjoy seeing this terrible collection of me - something wonderful is about to happy.

Yeah, I saw that, but I never did that climb. I can appreciate it however, since I came down on it 3 times now - at each tour de butter tart.

The parade was awesome! Police lead Clara up the street with probably about a hundred other riders behind her.

I got home just in time from swim lessons to grab my cowbells and get out to the sidewalk. I was very impressed how she "paperboy"-ed up the hill to say hi to all the kids.

I was in Dundas for Freewheel Cycle's garage sale, didn't even realize the dedication was today. Wondered what was up with all the people on the street. Looked good with the motorcycle cops, bike cops, and the racers escorting her.
