    Buckwallow Autumn (pics)

Enjoyed a solo ride this afternoon at Buckwallow. Made some pics along the way and thought I would share the colours for those who won't get here this time of year. A gorgeous fall day, and per usual Mike has the trails in great shape

I think it's time for me to move further up north, pictures like this really depress me, I live in the worst part of Ontario for biking

I went to Orillia last weekend (only 45 min from Buckwallow) and my mountain bike was not in a fully assembled state when I was getting ready to go so I had to settle for a pleasant ride on the shore of lake simcoe with my touring bike.

Thanks for reminding me what I missed.

When does Buckwallow close for the MTB season. I'd love to do another ride there this year.

Mike always closes for the season Oct 31, reopens May 1. I know he would probably be just as happy if everyone called it a season the weekend of 27-28th. That gives him a few days before deer season to get all the signage down and otherwise wrap things up. After that he probably will have a big long nap

My buddy and I went to Buckwallow on Sunday. Absolutely perfect weather, trails were in great condition, and the scenery with all the leaves changing was beautiful.

We snapped some shots on the ride. My 1x1 rode great but there were a couple wet spots that made me wish I put on a knobby tire for climing up the rocks. Hoping to go back next Saturday.
