Hmm, that seems like a cool idea.

    No big ass required

We'll try to set up a decent loop so that all abilities can participate. I think it will be cool to see a string of that many riders coming through the woods!

If someone has a decent camera to bring along, it would be cool to get some photos.

Trails are in great shape, weather is looking pretty solid. 43 people saying they are going on Facebook, plus others likely in tow who aren't slaves to social media.

Check the skies towards Hamilton at 8:00 pm if you can't join, I shall bring a thundercat decal to project into the night with our lights.

Everyone knows our greatest Pornographic export is Peter North.

Okay.....back on topic...big, ass, night ride. Thursday. Be there, or be square.

FYI, There will be no pornography officially associated with this ride. What you choose to do before, or after, is a decision that can be made by consenting adults. During the course of the ride, or in Domestique, keep it clean.

I saw a busted chain, derailler hanger, frame, a few flat tires... Only saw 1 bail at the last set of logs....

For 80 ppl following the leader out in the woods, it went off without a hitch....

Im not the cold weather type.
Do it earlier and Im sure you could
get closer to 100 riders out ;-)
    Was everyone local?
How many out of towners rode ?

October/November is best... tis the season for night riding! To be honest I don't think we'd get that many people out in the middle of the summer.

Also, the fallen leaves provided amazing sightlines of headlamps spreading across the ravines.

I'd say the representation was around 80% local.

Thanks to all who made it out, and I can't believe how smoothly it went!

Sounds like it was awesome! Bummed I couldn't make it but glad it went so smoothly. The parking lot outside Domestique was jammed!

Tell me about the route (and the busted frame)!
Please enjoy seeing this terrible collection of me - something wonderful is about to happy.

We departed Domestique and like a critical mass ride, though not intentional, stopped traffic exiting.

Through St. Joseph's village, into Warren Park. Up to Sanctuary Park. Stop # 1 to regroup

Spring Trail, to the train station. Onto the main loop to the Orchard. Stop # 2

Main Loop, left up to the exit of fire pit trail, then onto the ridge trail/bruce trail, descent down to Lions Club/Old Dundas intersection. When I arrived here, I saw that gentlemen staring at two sections of his bike. He didn't look to be hurt, and I never heard how it happened, but that rocky descent is a suspicious culprit. Stop # 3

Lions club to Artaban road. Connector into Tim's trails, rode the east 2/3rd, crossed Old Dundas road, through the trails then up to Little John Park.

Then a full on sprint back to Domestique to be first in line for beer.
