Sauble is very sandy and there is only a few trails there. Did i mention its sandy?
Wiarton has the mountain bike park but due to a crash they had to rip all the cool stuff out. Sadly I havent riddin there yet but am told it is super rocky. Lots of technical sections. Not the best beginner stuff

Sawmill trails in hepworth (5-10min away from sauble) is an awsome ride. Not a ton of km to put on butost people are tired after a lap or two, it is a mix of flowy single track and a good amount of climbing. Kind of reminds me of a mini albion hill

Owensound has great riding. Very tecnical in spots and lots of rocks and root. Alittle over grown right now with thise dam prickley bushes but there is about 30km in owen sound.

If you need more info on locations let me know!

Negative, I encountered some last minute BS and the trip has been postponed, will go this weekend assuming the weather is nice. Planning to check out Hepworth mainly, possibly Wiarton.

Hopefully you found the good stuf in the back. There is some really challenging short climbs back there.
