2nd annual Labour Day PAIN Don ride

Ghettocruiser and I will be doing the Labour Day PAIN ride for the second year. Last year it was a little over 100km all over the Don and into Scarborough. Probably starting at Loblaws, probably around 7am. Probably 8 hours on the bike.

    Any takers?

It's more fun than the above description makes it sound.

So, this is Labour Day proper i.e. Monday? If I can resist the urge to sleep in I could be good for 50-60k, after that touch and go! You guys have a route planned yet?

Have a good ride guys! Be sure to check out the DJs, I think might be a movie being filmed there

We're doing a ride today to Hanlan's Point to watch the Airshow and chill

    Monday it is indeed.

Last year's route was based on your own SBDR framework, with added Scarberia content, as follows:

If I hadn't had a catastrophic bike failure in Earl Bales, we probably could have gotten some more Highland Creek in. I will also try to set up the "resupply post" in Scarborough with some snacks.

At your dads place? I'm planning to have a stash at my inlaws too.

For anyone who is planning to join us but hasn't checked in yet, the revised start time is now 8 am at Loblaws redway trailhead.

    Moisture may be a factor.

Yeah, we got dumped on for 15 minutes in East Point Park. I dried out by the time I got home at 166km.
