New question here. XO/X9 All mountain (AM) cranks, questions.

Looking into a pair of either xo or x9 all mountain (AM) cranks. I have a 2013 stumpy evo with the cheap sram bb30 2x10 cranks with a bash now. I'm looking to get something a bit lighter/stiffer.

Is anyone running these cranks now? I really need a bash gaurd for our trails but the "AM" version costs so much more than buying a 3x10 and bolting on a bash gaurd but I'm not sure if I can get the same 24/36 gearing or have a correct chain line with 3x10/vs 2x10 cranks.

Also, if some one has the 2x10 AM cranks, is there a spot on the spider machined for the bash or is it just a pair of 3x10 cranks with a bash bolted on?

I have the XO on my Enduro...it comes with a bolt on Bash to the spider, works well and keeps thing light....I run the 24/36 version but you can get 26/39 or 28/42 and I think you can make 26/38 in the 104 BCD..but remember when you go bigger you will have to change your front Der to accomidate the larger rings they have 3 different version small, med, and large
