no changes on x.0 shifter and x.9 rd. the only change is on x.0 rd and the new x.0 trigger. (new cassette to, but that isn´t what you asking about )

    as an added bonus

They're the best friggin shifter in the world. I've run the X twisties for about 5 months. Love them.

What's the difference between the 2005 and 2006 X.0 rear derailleur? Well, other than the color and the carbon cage. My shop replaced a long cage (alloy) 2006 with a 2005 for a warranty repair. It's a little uglier with the faux-carbon finish, but isn't that the only diff?
