    X0 Jockey wheel bearings

    Hey guys

Are the bearings in X0 jockey wheels a common problem. I'm now to the point I have to clean them out after pretty much every "really wet" race. I'm always really carefull how I clean my bike (never harsh jet wash) but I had problems with the jockey wheel bearings after the very first race I did on the new rear mech - 2008 X0.

Basically, dirt is just getting right in under the shields on the bearings. I caould accept this if it was happening after I had removed the shields once for cleaning but it was just as bad right from new.

Never had a problem with XTR

    Anyone experience similar problems?

You could always upgrade to jockey wheels with ceramic bearings.
When under pressure, your level of performance will sink to your level of preparation.
