I wasn't sure where to put this thread, but here goes.
...Anybody know who makes really good carbon headset spacers?
...and why are they so good?

I've used the FSA spacers on several bikes. They have worked and haven't caused any issues.

I know Wheels Manufacturing and Chris King make lathe cut opposed to saw cut spacers. Dunno if that makes a big difference though.
    ...maybe so.

They're there simply to space the stem up......

    You're overthinking it

I could use cardboard and be just as happy as I am with my CF spacers. They serve no purpose, other than aesthetics, once the stem is tight.

They need to be flat and hold up to compression. Don't overthink it too much, but if you're worried, buy them from a manufacturer who also makes other carbon components/frames.

I like the plastic ones that come with Cane Creek headsets,.. they are actually lighter than CF and they lock together... Carbon Fiber spacers are nice bling if you're into that look...

Lots of companies make them. Here's an eBay search for Carbon headset spacers.

They weigh less than most of the aluminum ones, that's all.

Have a look at the Weight Weenies forum.

Try losing all the spacers. That looks way cooler than using crabon ones.
