    who makes a 22/32T 2x10 carbon crankset?

I prefer to have the granny gear up front along with the middle 32t ring of a 3x9 crankset but don't ever need the big 42t ring. Does anyone make a lightweight Ti or carbon crankset in this configuration? I know the new XX 2x10 can be configured as 26/39 up front, but I'm thinking that would be too difficult to push in some of the steeper climbs I encounter where I ride.

not that im aware of. you could grab a noir or next crankset and get rid of the big ring.

Yeah, you should just look at getting a triple, and take off the big ring. So many options to choose from, and probably save you some coin.

you'd likely be fine with a 24T. If you're running a 36T in the back is effectively the same as a 22 with a 34 cog.

You could pick up a triple and remove the big but I'd look for a 24/36 combo. SRAM and RF both make one and it will give you more top end.

Get a triple and remove the big ring (replace with a lightweight BBG bash is needed).
