Wheels spin backwards when cranking backwards....

This may sound newbie, but I have a DT240S rear hub. I recently noticed this, but when I put the bike on the stand and start cranking backwards, the wheels start rotating backwards. If I keep spinning the crank, the wheel turns faster and faster as if it has a centrifugal clutch inside.....

Is this normal? or do I have a crappy hub......? Help please..... I am no expert when it comes to hubs.....

Freehub is too tight. Is the hub new? If it is, it might just need time to break in.

    All hubs do that.
