What type of bottom Bracket do I need?

So i am building a bike, a black market malice, and i wanted to put bmx cranks on but i didn't know what type of bottom bracket i needed to get. I think there are like 4 types, European, English, Spanish, and mid. If you know what type i need please let me know.

The 4 types your referring to are the thread interfaces. You'll need English for the Specialized.

The types would be cartridge with different crank interfaces and axle lengths. bmx is probably square taper. Check this link for more complete info. http://www.sheldonbrown.com/bbsize.html

Sorry if I mis informed. Not being familiar with BMX I took the info from Sheldon Browns web site......which is why I included the link for OP
to reference. There it says BMX....square taper.
