What bottom bracket for the demo 8 can I use?

I just got a 2010 demo 8 frame and can't figure out what bottom bracket I can use.

    I ordered this one (68/73 x 51): racket%202010
But the spindle isn't long enough. the bolt barely has any thread that engages.

I have the truvitav howitzer cranks. I had to put 2 spacers in so the cranks don't rub on the chainguide.

Should not use any spacers with 73mm shell. Might need to go with the longer spindle if the cranks are hitting the guide.

Here is what Specialized spec's on the 2010 Demo 8 II. You might not be able to use the howitzer or a 2 ring setup.

Crank - This is a single ring unit.

Crank - FSA Gravity Lite DH, hollow forged arms, 36t alloy ring with Gamut P-30 chainguide

BB - FSA BB-7000 for Gravity Lite crank, 73mm shell

You are probably going to have to purchase an external BB and matching crank. And as mtn said, no spacers on a 73mm BB.
