What 10 speed chain do you run?

I'm converting to 1x10; looking at the different chains SRAM has available - varying prices. What is the best chain to run for 10 speed and why? Is it true, spend more, you'll get a better chain?

with the new Sram 10 speed chains, the powelink conenctors are suppose to be one time use only (unlike their 8/9 speed ones). Maybe look at the KMC

I'm curently using Sram 1051 with XX group. Find it much better, than previous Kmc 10sp.New sram is much quicker with less noise.

KMC X10SL. Got online for about $52 somewhere. Smooth as silk...love the hollow pins and plates.

What about for those of us running Shimano drivetrains? I've got an SLX/XT setup on my 2011 XTC1 and am missing the comfort and convenience of the quick link. Can the KMC or SRAM options work with a Shimano (non-Dynasys) setup?

The KMC Missing Link should work well with your Shimano chain. I do not believe the SRAM fits as well.

on xx drivetrain bike came with 1090, i tried to save some money with a 1071 and it didnt shift as quickly so back to a 1091r , $50 on ebay. Maybe no difference or just felt better because its brand new but maybe not because 1090/91 made differently with quicker shifting in mind
