I recently bought a KHS 604 XC.
The pedals that came on my bike stock were VP M31s, with VP C-01 cleats.
basically shimano spd compatible. They came with some screws, and other doodads.
I just took the cleats and mounted them right to my shoes, which are Northwave Fuels.
Now, these cleats appear to be crap. It takes so much effort to "find the sweet spot" to clip in. Before I was running ATAC Aliums on my Rocky Mountain, and I could always clip in effortlessly.
Does anyone else run VP cleats and pedals? Maybe there's a trick to mounting the cleats that i'm not aware of, like inserting spacers or shims.
