    Truvativ Stylo SS to Geared.

I have a 05 or 06 Truvativ Stylo Single Speed GXP Crankset and I was wondering if anyone knows if I can just get new chain rings to make it a 2 or 3 ring setup instead?

Something like their standard Stylo GXP set.

does it have the bolt holes to mount a granny ring (go look)? if it does, then yes, you can do a 2 or 3 ring deal. the large chainring will take the place of the bash ring.

Nope, I checked and the holes are plugged. Looks like I'll have a set of cranks for sale.

lol, i don't suppose you can un-plug them? even if you can't install a granny ring, you should be able to use a middle and outter ring. do you really need a granny ring?

Normally I would say no, I hard ever use it unless I am on one of our 1-2 hr climbs. But... this is for my 29r where the gearing is really different and loosing 2-3 t on each front ring balances out the wheel diameter vs a 26".
