    Truvativ Noir 3.3

Does anyone have an opinion on this crankset? I am searching for my new build and this may be a choice along side the '08 XT Hollowtech. I ride mostly cross country trails locally, on top of a few trips to the mountains each year (Dupont, Tsali, Pisgah), and also like to jump off of things on occasion. Thanks.

I guess no one owns a pair yet. Thats odd. Never thought I would not get one single reply from a thread.

Give it a day or two...

I havent ridden the noir, but I can guarantee you that 99% of people will say the XT is the better option. The XT is competitively light, and its the stiffest, most durable crankset out there.

I've just finished building my hartail xc and was hesitating between the noir3.3 and the xt M770. I've finally opted for the XT since I couldn't find reviews and comments on the noir. Damn that crank looks slick and pretty but the truth is that it's around 50g lighter than the xt for 100$ more. You make the maths...
