Talk me out of Race Face rings

I can get a full set of Race Face 10 speed rings for about $10 more than a SRAM middle ring runs. Give me a good reason why I shouldn't replace my SRAM stuff with Race Face.

There is no good reason. Buy RaceFace.

X2 on that. Race face rings last forever, or close to it.

I'm a bit of a Shimano fanboy. Although they don't always play nice with other brands' cranks.

I don't know about SRAM rings but I agree with above. My RaceFace seem to have very little wear after over a year.

To be fair, the original SRAM ring will have made it through about 20 months of my less than stellar maintenance routine once its all said and done.

Unless you're riding a ton of volume, 20 months is pathetic.

    Just to be totally blunt.

    Ha! I don't mind blunt.

FWIW I never had much luck with Shimano, either.
