    Swap deore for acera-x chainring?

I have a 1999 Diamondback Topenga SE with a blown middle chainring. Bikepedia says I have Acera-x (22,32,42) cranks, and think it has 4 bolts on the crankarm. I just found a 104mm deore 32t with 4 bolts at the store. Would this be a drop in replacement on my crankset?

    Thanks

Acera X chainrings were not replaceable in 1999...for a direct square taper replacement, look at these cranksets

That's some amazing info. Thanks! I didn't realize that the taper was unique. That crank is the same price my LBS quoted for a random used set. If your info is good, the used set may not have fit anyways.
