    Sram XO and XT RD

I have A SHIMANO DEORE XT RD-M773 10 Speed Mtb Rear Derailleur Long Cage and Sram XO Grip Shift. My question is will the two work together. I need some info before I install.

Because they have slightly different pull ratios. It doesn't seem like much but with the tight tolerances of ten speed systems it's more then enough to completely screw up your shifting.
There are some frankenshifting that work together, but why not just get the parts that are designed to work together in the first place.
    These two are not .

Thank You for your input Bill.
