    SRAM x.9 with SRAM x.7

On cannondale rush 1000, there is a rear derailleur X.9 with X.7 trigger. Is it a good combination or it gotta be paired with X.9 trigger ?

Aside from my X.9 derailleur snapping off for no reason, the X.9 rear with X.7 triggers works great on my Prophet 1000. Moving to X.9 shifters doesn't really get you much of an improvement.

I'm running an X.7 with my X.0 RD. The X.7 shifter is a quality piece. All metal housing and very crisp gear changes. I run 1x9 so I've only used the rear changer.
