If anyone has taken a close look at member: Yellowcard's Klein hardtail, you might notice his rear SRAM X.0 (medium cage) derailleur as unusual. Unlike the X.0 rear (medium cage) derailleur I just purchased for my Klein, his has a real carbon cage; on the production derailleur, SRAM provides a carbon-look cage.
I have already contacted Yellowcard; it appears he had someone else make it for him in Germany. Has anyone else attempted to fabricate a real carbon fiber cage for his X.0 derailleur? Anyone in the US that might offer such a service?
