    SRAM trigger question

I just got a new bike, a Specialized Epic, with LX drivetrain (XT rear der.). I went from a hardtail with SRAM X.9 with gripshift.

I relly liked the feature on the Gripshifts that made it possible to adjust the front der. so the chain rubbing could be eliminated.

I noticed that there are alot of rattle on the LX setup. Can this be eliminated with the SRAM triggers or are the gripshift the only shifters with this option?

Can I use X.9/X.0 shifters with my XT rear der. and LX front der.?

Thats a feature of gripshifts only. The only SRAM gripshift that will work with shimano rear derailleurs is the Rocket. It doesn't matter with the front derailleur. Anyway, you should not need front derailleur trim to keep things quiet. With correct alignment and setup the front derailleur should normally not rattle or scrape the chain with any shifter.
