    sram and shimano compatibility, confused

3 months ago bought all new 10 speed shimano deore drivetrain (against everybody's advice). last week bought new bike with 10 speed sram parts. I want to re-use some of the shimano parts on the new bike because they should be better, for example the shifters have a window to tell me which gear, sram does not. The shimanor rear derailer has a clutch, sram does not. I have read and read, and I am confused. Some say ok, some say may work but not that good.

    Can I use the following?
    shimano deore shifters
shimano deore shadow plus rear derailer,
    sram X7 front derailer,
    sram crank
    Sram chain

Also, I have a spare shimano chain and cassete, Can I make these work with the above for future maintenance?

In case you are wondering, the new bike stock comes with X5 sram derailler and shifters and want to replace them with deore cause I think deore is better.
