    SRAM powerlink & Shimano?

Is it true that you can use the SRAM powerlink on a shimano chain without any issues?

    cheers

    Yes.

SRAM advises against it (which you'd expect), but lots of people have been doing this for some time now with absolutely no problems. I've been using SRAM powerlinks on Shimano chains for over a year now.

    I hope so...

I have been doing it for years. When the Shimano chain wears out, I replace it with a SRAM. No problems.

Lots of people have done it for a long time (myself included). It works fine, and is 10x better than the "special pin" from shimano.
