Is Sram mid cage the same as Shimano long cage ?

I have an XTR long cage rear derailer on my Cannondale Rush .
Sram's rear derailers come in short and mid lengths .
Is their mid the same as Shimano's long ???

A SRAM med cage is like a Shimano med cage...and a the long cages of both are similar as well. SRAM does make a short cage in X.O. and X.9...Shimano no longer makes short cage mountain derailluers (though their road short cage derailluers work with their mountain shifters).

actually, sram's meduim cage has more capacity than shimano's medium, which is in-between srams medium and short cage offerings.

Just measured and the X.0 long cage is 6mm shorter than a XTR long cage when measured pulley to pulley.
