I've only followed this project occasionally. Do these cranks offer anything unique or are they just an alternative? I'd love to see some more low Q factor MTB cranks.
There are several design features that are unique that add both to the stiffness of the crank and allow us to make it very light. I can discuss this more once we receive the patents. The cranks easily passes the EN testing standards, which may allow us to lighten it even more.
Getting a low Q MTB crank is one of my priorities with the design as well. It will probably come in 2x and 1x configurations by the end of the year.
