I recently trashed an '07 X9 SRAM rear derailleur whilst jra...:madman:
I need to rebuild it.
I'm pretty sure I can get new jockey wheels and a new hanger bolt ok, but I also need the black plastic inserts that the high and low adjusting screws thread into to adjust the limits of travel. They seem to be plastic or nylon, maybe Delrin or Zytel plastic.
Swing by your LBS. They probably have a few trashed SRAM derailleurs sitting around. If I were back at home I'd drop an x7 in the mail for you... but... I'm about 200 miles away at school...
are there any certain brands in particular that may stick out in quality... I found a ton from Hong Kong:skep: I don't mind buying Asian... but I do try to steer away from bidding on items shipped from the other side of the globe
I have an X.7 but I'll be jumping up to X.9 or X.0 in a bit... depends on what deals are found at the time... most likely X.0... Just looking for some weight savings/more durable jockeys...
