    SLX crankset chainline/spacer ?

Can you run a BB/spindle spacers to get the optimal chainline on these cranks? No matter how I set-up my FD, I still get chain rubbing on the inner plate of the FD when running the cranks without a spacer. When I tap the spindle out about 2-3mm, no chain rub at all in all the gears (36/24 dual ring set-up), but then I have 2-3mm of play in cranks? So I see the only solution is to run spacers like I did on my previous RF Atlas cranks. Is it ok to do that on Shimano SLX too?

Thanks for any help, I haven't ran Shimano cranks in a long time.

    Ride On!

Run one spacer on the drive side for a 73 mm bb shell . 68 mm shell , 2 on the drive side , 1 on the left side .
