Single ring specefic cranks for pf30/bb30??

Anybody know how many single ring specefic cranks are out there??
    So far we got ---
Sram xx1- look good but most sram mountain stuff I've owned is underengineered
MRP bling ring-- good option but no pf30 specefic cranks?
e13 TRSr-- interested in these, anybody got any feedback on these?
    anything else?

What are you looking to gain with a single ring specific crank? I don't know of anybody that has ever manufactured crank arms that were designed as a single chain ring from the word go. Perhaps the Dura Ace track cranks but even that's doubtful.

I do respect the desire to not buy chainrings your not going to use though.

correct me if I'm wrong but both sram xx1 and E13 TRSr are specificaly designed for a single ring. Many advantages to this including

    -perfect chainline without spacers
    -lighter wieght
    -looks better (most important)
-can run lower than 32t chainring
    - word on the street is you don't even need a chainguide with sram xx1 which would be awesome

My point is that single ring specific cranks are regular cranks with a dedicated ring and/or spider. The XX1 isn't a unique crank arm, just a specific spider. With that in mind you could convert any crank set to single ring use.

And yes the XX1 is designed to be secure enough to run sans chain guide.

I'm sure we are caught up in semantics here, but why would the cranks arms need to be different to run a single ring? I never implied they would need to be and of course we're talking about the spider/ring interface. When one takes into consideration Q-factor perhaps single ring specific cranks arms do have a unique shape...dunno? Furthermore, to my knowledge, only the 2 cranks I listed allow you to run < 32t ring so they are infact different than running standard cranks with a single ring.

I am not certain how well the chainline or Q factor would mesh with what you are doing, but perhaps BMX cranksets would be an option.
