    shock for 2004 NRS

I have a 2004 NRS the rear shock is a Sid and i'm just not happy with it, just not plush enough. If i try and soften it up it bobs? I noticed on the rocker arm there are two positions one being in short travel and the others position is longer travel? I dont remember seeing that on a NRS before, Any thought and ideas shock change etc, I weigh 180, oh by the way there is a 80MM Sid Team on front. Big hits it seems ok (back hops off the ground) on the lime stone ripples and roots is where it seem to be the problem

Its not the shock, its the bike.

The NRS is designed to run with the shock at full extension and only move when solid sized bumps are hit. As you found out, running it at lower pressure will only make it bob terribly.

If you want something plush...sell the frame and buy a more trail orientated FS frame.
