    Shimano XTR rear shifter vs. Saint

    To be used on XT Shadow Plus RD.Advantage of one over the other?

    IIRC, the saint shifters can only up shift one cog at a time as opposed to the two you can do with the XTR. Other than that they are both very nice shifters.

    I would only like to say that the saint paddles are long. If you are 1x10 it won't matter, but it may not match your front shifter otherwise.

    Also, the saint will upshift two at a time, but only when you are using your thumb to shift.

    I would like to think the xtr would last longer if it has better bearings, but whether or not it is worth the extra money I don't know.
