Shimano XT (M760) crank users, what chainrings (Other than shimano) are you using?

Just curious as to the other brands and sizes of chainrings people are using on the M760 crankset.

Im thinking of replacing my 44t for something smaller, maybe a 42 or 40 if possible, to me, the 44t is not useful.

I'm still waiting for my parts to be delivered, but I have the same crankset (but rebaded) M762 Custom for Specialized. I'm looking into converting my 3x9 drive train to a 2x9.

So far, i've been relying on reviews by other people. The Chain Rings that I order were
from Blackspire, "Super Pro Chainrings" at 26t as my granny and 38t as my middle and a bashguard as my outer chain ring.

Other companies such as Middleburn, FSA, Raceface is justto name a few that sells chainrings

On my 760 crank, I use a 32t Salsa middle ring, 44t Shimano 760 outer ring (previously RaceFace Team), no granny. The nice thing about the Salsa is that all the teeth are full-height, it's not going to encourage the chain to downshift to the non-existent granny ring.

Was actually looking for a cheap replacement for my 44. Does salsa make a 44 that's ramped?

No, they have no ramps or pins, and use all full-height teeth. Here's some search results from an online store that searches QBP's catalog:

Race Face makes their 9 speed Turbine rings (22/32/44) in Shimano specific versions so they bolt right on to newer Shimano cranks without havinbg to file down tabs...

Then any Race Face rings will work.

Thanks. Snatched up a 44th ring off the classifieds. Raceface silver.
