Are Shimano and SRAM/Truvativ, 2x10 chainwheels interchangeable?

I want to install a 24t 64mm BCD inner on my SRAM X9 2x10 crank, but I don't see any available. Are the shimano (available) 24t rings a good fit? Anyone seen the SRAM 24t available anywhere? Thanks.

4-bolt 64BCD is 4-bolt 64BCD no matter who makes it.

umm not shimano's stuff is kinda different than anyone elses. Srams are all standard and you can get any basic after market chain ring to fit. look at BlackSpire.. you can go to their web site but if ya search the web you can usually save a few buck. they are wicked good about customer service also and you can call and ask to verify what ring will work on your cranks.

Just so you know, the "BCD" on them all is the same, just Shimano makes the shoulder the chainring and spider match slightly diff from everyone else. you actually can file it a bit and make them work, but it's a tad weaker and more times than not it'll end up creaking under load.
Going to try and bring Trail Tire TV back. go take a look... http://trailtiretv.blogspot.com/

There is no shoulder for inner rings

Thanks, everyone. As a machinist and engineer I know the 'standard' numbers should tell all, but without having the two in hand to compare details such as hole and counterbore diameters and overall thickness, I'm not positive about compatibility. But your answers encourage me to buy one and try it.

    Bolt hole diameter is standardized.
Counter bores are not needed on the inner ring.
Thickness matters little, especially with a double, and 9-/10-sp are interchangeable.
Shifting is fine despite what Shimano/SRAM want you to believe. Ramps/pins have almost no affect on the inner ring (I still use and prefer straight tooth rings in all positions).
