Shimano SM-BB50 vs. SM-BB70 XT bottom bracket

I have ordered the Shimano M545 36/22T crank with bashguard. When placing the order and talking with my LBS, we both didn't realize that the crank comes bundled with the SM-BB50 bottom bracket. So I ordered a Shimano SM-BB70 XT bottom bracket for $32 on Amazon along with the crank.

Question is this, do I use the bundled BB or install the one I ordered? What significant difference (if any) is there between the two? Save myself the money or install it?

I would fathom to guess that the XT (SM-BB70) bottom bracket is a slightly higher quality unit...maybe better seals and/or grade bearings and races. Since you already ordered it, I'd probably install the better of the two and keep the other as a backup.
