    Saint rear derailleur compatibility

My bike currently has XT 9 speed rear derailleur. Can I replace it with Saint RD-M810? Do I need a special derailleur hanger, or is it using the standard hanger attachment like the other shimano groups?

The numbers are all good (capacity, largest cog, etc).

Of course you can use a Saint RD on your existing drivetrain. First versions of the Saint RD were direct mount onto the rear axle; however, Shimano has done away with that design and subsequent RD mount to the bike using standard hanger threads.
Go on ahead, I'm gonna take a breather.
