    Rock N Roll Cable Magic

I thought that I'd give Rock N Roll Cable Magic a try. I hung up a shifter inner cable and applied a few drops and ran my fingers down the length of the cable and let dry. My question to anyone familiar with RNR Cable Magic is, does the fluid dry to a teflon coating on the cable or does it contain an oil/petroleum carrier which never really dries, but remains a bit oily? Would Dupont's All Purpose Teflon work just a well, for cable lubing?

I thought cable magic was wax based from its white appearance. White Lightning is also a good wax based cable lube that is less expensive. It stays clean and isn't oily. Squirt Lube is a heavier wax based biodegradable lube that works great on eliminating ferrule noises on the frame, but it takes a long time to drip into cable housing.
