    Replacing derailleur on Trek 820

    I have crappy a Shimano TX rear derailleur that I need to replace... what should I replace it with? And what else to I need to replace in the process?

    Decide how much money you want to spend. Pick a 9 speed Shimano derailleur that is in that price range (assuming your bike is not a 10 speed). Don't need to change anything else.
