replacing BB... could use some advise

I'm going to replace my bottom bracket this weekend if i get a little free time. i havent replaced a bb yet, so i could use a little beginner's corner style of help. I have the tools on the way via priceoint.. hopefully not low quality/durability tools (sette stuff) but it was all fairly inexpensive and i dont plan to use them on a daily basis so a couple uses should pay them selves off.

    any tips?
torque values? probably will be included with the installation instructions with the new bb when that arrives.
its on an older i drive if that matters. if i over torque, whats the likely hood that i would crack the eccentrics bb shell?
how do i adjust it to set my chainline?
anything else i may need to know?

Drive side shell is reverse thread.

Use plenty of grease. Wrap the threads of the BB in PTFE teflon tape.
