    Replacement Derailleur Pulleys

I need new pulleys for my 2010 X0 rear derailleur. Does anyone have any recommendations? The stock SRAM units run about $34.

how about the stock sram pulleys? If you are a regular customer at your LBS you might try calling them up to see if they have a set out of an other wise dead RD you could get on the cheap.

Check out TorontoCycles. I bought some there and they look fine but stil haven't been ridden. They are louder than the stock Shimano but that was to be expected as it's they are metal versus a plastic on the originals.

I can't recommend their pulley bolts however (the ones at 4$ a pair at least), they are way too soft to be torqued down properly.

My XO has flanges so the replacement pulleys won't go on. Do you guys grind those off or??

Flanges??? Not sure what you are talking about...

I think the pulleys are different for Shimano & SRAM however, did you get the proper one?

I've always been partial for buying the right pulleys in the first place.

They are for SRAM, so I guess whoever made them didn't realize some der's have flanges interlocking with the pulley.

Edit to add: This is one of many reasons I dislike SRAM stuff. Looks cool but not built for long term durability. Who ever wears out pulley's anyway?
