    Replace my BB92, with what?

    Folks,
My Shimano BB92 pressfit bearings (on the non-drive side) are already grinding after about 4 months of riding. So soon? Indeed.
Now, what should I replace them with? Is there something better out there for ~50 bucks? [I average about 100 miles a week, so maybe I should boost up to ceramic bearings? Did you? Are you glad? What did you switch to?]

    Anyone tried KCNC:

    Thanks!

Enduro. The bearings are replaceable rather than needs to replace the entire BB.

Stay away from ceramic. Cost way more and require more maintenance.

But I would just pop the seals off of your current bearings and repack before replacing anything.

The trouble with common sense is it is no longer common

Re: Replace my BB92, with what?

I have an Enduro Zero PF30 BB, and the drive side bearing exploded on me after about a month. Replaced it with steel bearing and have been riding like for about 8 months. The remaining ceramic bearing is very crunchy, and I'm just waiting to replace it all with a better steel BB. My suggestion would be to not waste money on ceramic.

Thanks for the advice. I'm not at all hip to the press-fits... Didn't even think to repack them. They *are* just bearings...
After that, I'll try out Enduro.

By the way, I figured I could rig a lag bold/nut to install the BB, but what should I use to remove, if I don't want to buy the extractor tool -- PressFit Bottom Bracket Bearing Tool Set -- which are 40 bucks?

    Thanks again.
